Who We Are

Plucked straight from the garden of England, Pool Club are a power pop quintet whose euphoric indie anthems sound like a summer beach day of brightly coloured cocktails. Based on the East Coast in Kent, Pool Club have an undeniable knack for writing infectious pop that tickles the brain like the first drink on a Friday night. Effortlessly mixing influences ranging from ELO to Supergrass and Queen to Green Day, the band are the nostalgic yet refreshed face of the burgeoning new AltIndie scene.

Band Member - Jon - Drummer

Found when rummaging through lost and found, Jon joined the band in early January 2024. He has since gone on to provide the solid driving, hard hitting backbone of Pool Club.

After starting his musical journey with drums at the age of 7 Jon has played many different genres of music, even going as far as joining a brass band as a percussionist when he was 15.

Hardworking and driven, Jon's instinctive knack for creativity is the motive force that keeps the cogs of Pool Club turning. He loves loud music, beer (and the occasional Moscow Mule) and over everything else - AC/DC.

Band Member - Seb - Singer / Bassist

With fingers like cocktail sausages, Seb was enlisted as bassist for Pool Club in August 2022. Naturally, being a skilled guitarist, he was assigned to Bass - to keep his ego in check. Since then he has been laying down the low end for the band with passion and energy at every opportunity. Mad for music since he first picked up a guitar at age 9, Seb has found influences in genres from R&B to EDM.

He is currently a student at Durham University, but keeps his hand in the band at all times, always ready for a drink and a jam.

Band Member - Eliot - Singer / Guitarist

One of the founding members of Pool Club, Eliot plays the role of guitarist and one of the band's three lead singers.

He has been playing and performing since his early teens and through this time, carved out a skill in songwriting. Eliot studied music at University, where he refined his abilities. He now resides in South East Kent, out of which he writes and records from his studio.

His keen ear for melodies helps him churn out catchy tunes that keep you singing and your foot tapping.

Band Member - Will - Keys

A man who's musical ability stretches beyond comprehension, Will began his musical career as a classical pianist. Originally joining the band as a keyboard player, he took a brief hiatus to step in as drummer prior to Jon joining the current band's lineup, before returning to his 'homeground' of ebony and ivory keys.

Spreading a wide selection of genres, Will primarily takes influence from Radiohead, Grizzly Bear and Black Midi.

Primarily a musician in Pool Club, he gives his input in songwriting and performance whilst also working on his own project 'Personal Barber'.
